Hair follicle density analysis

We calculate the pore density per 1cm² area by measuring the number of pores. The higher the pore density, the greater the number of pores in the same area, so your hair looks full.

Measurement of scalp through various sensors.

The becon scanner is equipped with a contactless moisture sensor, an IR temperature sensor, and a VoC sensor, so you can measure moisture, scalp heat, and even smell.

Moisture sensor measurement

Through a non-contact moisture sensor, the amount of water vapor in the 1m ³ of volume is expressed as a moisture state (g/m ³). If the moisture balance is poor, it can cause dead skin cells and dandruff, and it can lead to scarring and inflammatory reactions caused by scratching due to itching, and in severe cases, chronic hair loss, so be careful.

Measurement of scalp heat by temperature sensor

The contactless IR sensor measures the temperature (˚C). The temperature in the scalp is the highest at the top of the head, and the sebum secretion increases by about 10% for every 1˚C increase in the scalp temperature. Symptoms such as frequent sweating on the scalp, itchy and dead skin cells, and oil coming up quickly even after washing your hair can be caused by high scalp temperature.

Hair odor measurement

Use a VoC sensor to calculate the value of volatile organic compounds in terms of smell (ppb). If the fragrance of the product you used is strong, it can be high. The scalp has twice as many sebum glands as the skin, so it has a lot of sebum secretion. Especially when the heat of the scalp increases, sebum, dust, bacteria, and sweat are mixed, which can cause the smell of the top of the head.
